Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Keevo collects only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo from Google Sign-In.
• Device information: Device ID and model name, used for account security.
• Crash reports: Anonymous crash logs to help us fix bugs (no personal data included).
• Push notification token (FCM): Sent to our servers to deliver notifications to your device.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• The contents of your documents, photos, notes, passwords, or any vault data.
• Your Google Drive files or backup contents.
• Your location, contacts, or any data unrelated to the app.

3. Google Drive Access

Keevo can optionally back up your encrypted data to Google Drive using a hidden app folder (appDataFolder) that is not visible in your Google Drive interface and is only accessible by Keevo.

We request Drive access only to write and read your own encrypted backup files. We never read, modify, or access any other files in your Google Drive. Your backup is fully encrypted on your device before being uploaded — we cannot read its contents.

4. Data Storage

All vault data (documents, passwords, reminders, etc.) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database. Data only leaves your device if you explicitly trigger a backup.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In — for authentication.
• Google Drive — optional backup storage.
• Google AdMob — ads shown to free-tier users only.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

Your account data (name and email) is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the app, which permanently removes your data from our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

Keevo is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
